I know that it%26#39;s late but I am hoping that someone is up and checking out this board. I thought that I had the hotel picked out for myself, my twin and her son to stay in next week...the Holidays Sands North, but after reading all of the bad reviews on the hotel, I don%26#39;t want to stay there.
My twin and I live in different towns and will be meeting in a few hours to make the final decision about a hotel. She doesn%26#39;t have internet access, so she has left the hotel finding up to me. We have never traveled together so I want everything to be great!
We are needing a hotel in the Myrtle Beach area. It would be nice if it was close to a pier but not needed. We need an oceanfront room with at least two double beds but would prefer a two room place. We need some sort of kitchen at least a frig and microwave. We want it to have a great indoor pool area {the nicest and bigger the better...esp. if it included an indoor lazy river}. We are on a very limited budget under $75 a night total.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your help. Sorry for the short notice. I am going to read the other post here on the board in hopes of finding help as well. Once again, thank you for everything.
Please Help...ASAP!
We also need a place where smoking is permitted at least in the room.

Try the Dayton House, the Hampton Inn Oceanfront, and the Caribbean Resort. I don%26#39;t know if the rates are within your budget, but I would stay at any of these places without worry.
Dayton House is smoke free - rooms and buildings as well as around pool
Did you check the one at Ashworth I put in your messages?
Smoking knocks out 99.5%
try..

I would try Coral Beach or the Holiday Inn oceanfront. I%26#39;m sure they are in off season rates but I have no idea how much they are.
You may want to look into Holiday Sands SOuth
not trying to get on your case, but why do you insist on smoking in the room.....is it too much trouble to go outside? SC is still relatively smoker-friendly but you may eventually have to adjust to doing that anywhere you go. I personally mind staying in a room that has been smoked in...it gets into the fabrics, etc.
try the windsurfer its right next door to the 2nd ave. pier
were going down next week too.
Try the Breakers- resort hotel is probably less expensive than Paradise, it is older but I always liked staying there. Have fun!
Let%26#39;s see......indoor pool with lazy river, 2 bedroom suites, oceanfront with a kitchen or kitchenette. Oh yeah, and to go ahead smoke in the room........all for $75/night. Any other demands? Just book a room somewhere on the beach and go have a good time, don%26#39;t worry about all of your petty demands. Little stuff like that makes any vacation a week full of headaches and hassles no matter where you stay.
