I would like to know if your local news is giving any predictions about Karen and when? The weather channel shows her path to be headed toward Georgia, South Carolina.

Actually, the current projections are that she will turn away from the US coast and head into the North Atlantic. She will probably create some rough surf and rip currents for a few days(tropical systems can do that even when they are hundreds of miles from shore) but no bad weather.

thanks, would you let me know if things change. I have been there before when it has been evacuated and don%26#39;t want to do that again. Our news has mentioned nothing about it at all.

I always use the Weather Underground website(www.wunderground.com) to track tropical systems. When you are on the home page. just click on the heading ';tropics';. They always post the latest advisories from NOAA. You can even look at all of the computer-projected paths on that website. It is far more informative than the Weather Channel or its website.
