Myrtle Beach at the end of October---Please help!

I know that on average the temps at the end of October early November are around 65-70 in MB. And again I know this varies each year, but just curious from those that either live in MB or have been there many times during this time of year, is it really a pleasant time to visit as far as weather goes?

My best friend and I are going to just get away for a few days and will be staying at Compass Cove Oceanfront Resort. We don%26#39;t really want to plan activities as this is a vacation for relaxing, Im sure we will want to spend most of the time relaxing on or around the beach, shopping, going out to restaurants, maybe playing a round of putt putt and perhaps going to Medieval Times.

Just trying to figure out if the weather will be pleasant this time of year to do those things. Any opinions??

My husband and I have been going to Myrtle Beach for the last five years. Always last week of October into first week of November. We have always had excellent weather....75 - 85 degrees except for last year. We actually had to golf in like 40 degree weather early in the morning....whew, wasnt ready for that! The locals kept telling us that it was record low temps for that time of year. So having said that I think your chances of great weather are really good. Oh, and by the way this is also a great time to go as far as crowds go. No waiting in line for restaurants.....love that. Also, check out Crocodile Rocks.

Have Fun!

Having been to MB MANY times, I have found that it is the BEST time of year to go! It%26#39;s not too hot or cold, just crisp and cool to warm...NICE (usually). My Hubby and I like to eat out at Crabby Mikes (Surfside) and Original Benjamins (north MB). We like to shop at Hudson%26#39;s Flea Market (Surfside) and Myrtle Beach Flea Market (inside building). We like to sometimes go to Broadway at the Beach...lots to do. There is a new mall, Coastal Grand Mall. MB is one of our very favorite destinations!
