Malibu Pointe N Myrtle Beach

Can anyone tell me if there are restaurants and shopping (especially restaurants) within walking distance from Malibu Pointe condos in N Myrtle Beach?

That%26#39;s a thread from over on the Myrtle Beach board. Being a brand new place it might be a season or more for reviews to pile up.

Like the response said there isn%26#39;t much nearby other than Molly Darcy%26#39;s beach pub and a couple small beach shops.

Most of your dining and shopping options will be out on Rt 17. Turn left and head south. A mile or two south will be Barefoot Landing and mile or two farther will be Tangers Outlets and Colonial Mall. Another several miles is Broadway At The Beach.

Dining options are scattered all around. Just have to research and decide where to go.

While 95% of your dining and attractions are to the south there are some nice options in the Little River/Calabash area. Where ever you go the drive isn%26#39;t as bad as it sounds. Mostly depends on season and time of evening.

IF nice list of ammenties isn%26#39;t that important and walking distance is, I can suggest two places ( very few ammenities). A few miles north in Cherry Grove. Both are 2-3 block walk to groceries, meals(nothing fancy), beach shops, post office, para-sailing, bike rentals etc............

I stayed at Malibu Pointe the first week in September. It%26#39;s a great place, but you%26#39;ll need to drive to restaurants. As mentioned, Molly Darcy%26#39;s is the only nearby place. There are a few small beach shops. Otherwise, 17 is your best bet. If you turn right and go a couple miles, there%26#39;s an IHOP, TGIFridays, Chik FilA, and shopping. If you turn left, the choices are endless. There%26#39;s a shopping mall, outlets, WalMart, and a multitude of dining options. Enjoy!
