nice and close to boardwalk

We are planning a trip to Myrtle Beach the first week in November with 2 teenagers and want to stay where the action is. Can you recommend a nice place close to the boardwalk, etc. Also what is the weather like there that time of year.

You%26#39;re on the North Myrtle Beach board. North Myrtle Beach is a seperate city from Myrtle Beach. 10-20 miles north of MB. No boradwalk and few attractions along the oceanfront. Still a nice, quiet family location but a bit longer drive to MB attractions.

You might try posting on the Myrtle Beach Board.

If you%26#39;re loking for a boardwalk like along Va Beach, you won%26#39;t find it. MB is much, much more spread out. There is a short walkway in the 9th Ave north area but that%26#39;s it. There has been talk of a boardwalk being built but that%26#39;s as far as it%26#39;s gone.

A few shops and attractions along there. The main attraction called the Pavillion was demolished last year.

The main attraction(s) for teens are blocks off the beach. Broadway At The Beach and the NASCAR track . You will probably be driving the teens and dropping them off.

Accomodations are a bit different than Va Beach. What I have seen and heard about Va Beach is most of your rental units are more like motel rooms than condos.

Most of your units in MB will have seperate bedrooms, kitchen dining areas.
