Ok, my husband I spent our honeymoon there 10 years ago this Dec. and we%26#39;d like to come back after the first of the year sometime for our anniversary trip. I was just wondering what the weather would be like in Feb, March or April. Also, we%26#39;d like to be there when things are kinda quiet, not real crowded. We stayed in a very nice B%26amp;B last time and I was thinking about staying in the historic district this time. I appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!
What time of year is best to visit
To me, after the hellacious heat we%26#39;ve had this summer, right now and into late Oct/early Nov is the best time.
As for springtime, I%26#39;d go with March. It%26#39;s not yet so crowded, the weather is nice, and there is a nice warmy feeling in the air.

I agree, March and April are good times. The weather is perfect. February can still be quite cold sometimes. I know I went there a few years back during President%26#39;s week and froze my butt off!
October is my favorite month in Charleston. The spring can be iffy with the weather, so that%26#39;s always a hit or miss thing. But if you put it off until March and April you may hit the spring break crowds. Do you know where you want to stay, your budget, and what kind of things you like to do?
The spring is the best when everything is in bloom. But beware when they have the historical home and gardens tours the town is packed with tourists! We learned this last year on a spur of the moment trip and every hotel was just about sold out..lol Im gonna try it around christmas this year.
Of the months you mention, April is best if you want some beach weather. March is lovely, with the gardens in bloom; but, also, with a lot of tourists in historic Charleston. February is quiet; but, also, chilly. I agree with some previous posts that October is an excellent time to visit.
