My husband and I are planning a trip to Charleston SC for our 5 year anniversay. A romantic getaway would be wonderful. Where should we stay, what should be see, and where should we eat? Lots of questions, I know, but it is our first time in Charleston.
Thanks.
Anniversary Trip to Charleston
Do you want to stay on the beach or in the historic district? Is price a consideration? Do you want a B %26amp; B, hotel, condo, etc.... Your query is too broad. Tell us what you like and dislike.
Anniversary Trip to Charleston
I think a B%26amp;B or Inn would be nice. Something different than the typical hotel stay. As for the location, I guess in the historic district. I would like to be able to walk to alot of the sights and restaurants.
Thanks.
Im planning on coming into town in December, and I ran across this place that seemed pretty neat. You can rent carriage houses and retain some privacy or stay in a home. Being anniversary..im gonna say this might be a better option! (wink) lol

hope u have a great time, Charleston is great!
I enjoyed Fulton Lane Inn.
We were married at the Planters Inn and spent our wedding night there as well. We can%26#39;t wait to return for an anniversary trip.
Everything about the Planters Inn was FABULOUS and the have one of the best restaurants in town on-site - the Peninsula Grill.

Some other ';romantic'; suggestions - have drinks at the Rooftop Bar at the Market Pavillion Hotel. Take a carriage ride (you can do private or group rides)
You have chosen a wonderful city to celebrate in!
Thanks everyone. We have also been recommended to the Vendue Inn. I know it has gotten mixed reviews on this site but what have you heard?
You might consider the Elliott House Inn as well. 25 rooms and is on the national register of historic places. www.elliotthouseinn.com
