Meritage still in business?

Hi Locals,

The number listed in the Trip Advisor review of Meritage has apparently been been disconnected. Does anyone know their new number or if they are still open? I really hope so as we were planning to try it out next week during our visit!

So sad about losing Meritage. The lobster mashed potatoes were the best!

We are tallking about the Meritage on East Bay Street right? I was there last Friday night.

they did close for ';renovations'; In Jan and Feb but opened back up in March or April.

There was also a Meritage in Columbia, SC (owned by the same folks), but it did close here in Columbia. The one in Charleston may still be open (it sounds like it is!). Maybe you accidentally tried to call the Columbia location instead of the Charleston one?

We actually walked by during the day yesterday and it unfortunately looked closed so we decided to try the Trio Tapas special over at the Thoroughbred Club in the Charleston Place Hotel. It was a great alternative as the goat cheese, spinich and crab dip was far and away the best dip we%26#39;ve ever had.

We%26#39;ll just have to hit the Meritage on our first anniversary trip back next year :)
