I am overwhelmed! Planning a trip next summer last week of July or early august, dates flexible. Travelers are family of 5 including grandmother who smokes and two teens 16%26amp;18. Looking for:
nice clean area and condo
3 BR oceanfront condo/suite
kitchen or kitchenette
lazy river/ waterslide for older kids or are they all preschool age?
game room/area other teens get together in evenings
any offer complimentary breakfast?
How%26#39;s the boogie boarding that time of year?
Cammie
please help me narrow down choices
Let me add that we do not want a smoking room, just where she can smoke on balcony, I have seen some resorts are completely nonsmoking.
Also, would like complimentary hi speed internet
walking distance to family affordable restaraunts in evening
Thanks for any tips, there are just so many out there it%26#39;s hard to know where to start!

The Cariabbean Resort just built a new condo tower and they have 3 and 4 bedroom condos. We stayed in a three bedroom over the Labor Day holiday and was very impressed. Can%26#39;t smoke inside but you can smoke outside.
Good Luck!

May not have all of your requirements but they all have the pools/lazy rivers you are looking for. And the kitchens.
The Island Vista is the place for you......it has wonderful pools and a water park area under a shelter..............parking is on site, unlike the Dunes Village. Who would want to have to cross Hwy 17 with kids, each time you had to leave the hotel. The Hampton Oceanfront is also nice with a wonderful breakfast. But the area that it is in, is kinda of seedy and very crowded. And they don%26#39;t much in the way of activities for kids. The Island vista had a few things that kids could do like make tee shirts and hunt for sharks teeth and for girls have their hair braded. Look at the reviews on Trip Advisor for the resorts and then decide. July is a busy time of the year, so be prepared for lots of people there. At the Island Vista, it is located in a very laid back area with a grocery, a block away. It is in a residential area that is close, though, to everything. The two pools there, have squirters in them as well as the hot tubs...............and they are shallow in the middle, going deeper as you walk out !! Something different !!! They have picnic tables on site, too that have beautiful murals painted on them. And on Thurs nights, the hotel grills ribs that will melt in your mouth. !! You get what you pay for and for me, looking at the Dunes and having stayed at the Hampton, the Island Vista is the best place we have stayed at. There is a nice tiki bar too and the grass area is wonderful.
good luck
