Hello all,
A group of five adults, 40%26#39;s to 70%26#39;s, headed to MB next week for three nights/four days.
We%26#39;ve all been before as a group a few times, and enjoy everything from casual, funky beach bar types of places to fine dining. We are staying at Island Vista. (Don%26#39;t care for burger or fried seafood buffets - we%26#39;re on the health-conscious side but like an occasional splurge calorie-wise.)
Would you please take a look at the choices I%26#39;ve made for eating out, and let me know if I%26#39;ve made any grevious errors or omitted anyplace we MUST try? (Feel free to give input on the choices.)
Breakfast - Dino%26#39;s, Croissants, Hotel
Lunch - Dagowood%26#39;s, Margarita%26#39;s, Rockefeller%26#39;s, Sea Captains House
Dinner - Abuelos, Collectors Cafe, Rioz, Emi, Sea Blue, Library
Also, anyone know what Bimini%26#39;s hours are?
Thanks so much!
Please critique my MB restaurant choices for trip nxt wk?
I would suggest either a lunch or dinner at one the great waterfront restaurants in Murrell%26#39;s Inlet. You can%26#39;t beat the view or the food.

I think Sea captains would be nice for breakfast too.We stay at the Island Vista and is just a quick little ride down to it.
Get rid of Library and go to Mayors House in Pawleys Island and hit Murrells Inlet marshwalk afterwards.
I agree about skipping the Library and going to Mayor%26#39;s house and be sure to get a $25 Restaurant.com certificate for each couple. You can all sit together and save $25 per check and eat some incredible food!

Forgot to mention:
If you go to the Mayor%26#39;s House tell them that Ron who spoke about Trip Advisor with the owner in August) suggested you come there.

I love Bimini%26#39;s for a casual, fun hangout.
Here%26#39;s the web address for Bimini%26#39;s, where you can find contact info and other important info:
http://www.biminisoysterbar.com/
Bimini%26#39;s is also very generous with their Restaurant.com coupons, as they will discount the drinks also (the 50.00 doesn%26#39;t have to be just food).
While we love to try new places, Biminis is always a ';must go'; every trip.
Was going to try Biminis one summer but found it to be smoke filled, crowded and loud.Maybe its better in the off season.
Abuelos had good food but was way overpriced and the staff were very inattentive. Even on a slow night we were there and it was during prime tourist season at dinner so word must be spreading.
While Abuelos is upscale Mexican, I%26#39;d settle for El Burro Loco any day, even though it%26#39;s a chain.
I%26#39;d vouch for Sea Captain%26#39;s any day. Excellent she-crab soup.

If you want excellent Mexican food and awesome service go to LaPlaya in Pawleys Island! They have so many choices and reasonable prices. They also offer Caribbean and Latin choices!
Fantastic!
