Beach Colony or Landmark Resort

any opinions?

thanks

Beach Colony or Landmark Resort

Beach Colony is in a much nicer area. It is more residential and quieter, however if you want to walk to alot of places then the Landmark is better. I personally think that the Landmark along with most other hotels in that particular area are dumps though. The Northern end of Myrtle Beach is much nicer and that is where Beach Colony is located.

While I won%26#39;t argue that there are not some ';dumps'; in the southern end, I think this area gets a bum rap. Even hart1 is finally coming around on this...

It%26#39;s kinda seedy until you get down to the doublt-digit Avenues S, but by the time you get into the 20%26#39;s, it%26#39;s about as nice as the north end %26amp; closer to Murrells I %26amp; other attractions. I suppose the north end is better if you just want peace %26amp; quiet %26amp; to be near Restaurant Row.

Different strokes for different folks...

The S aves may be closer to Murrells Inlet but the northern end is closer to Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, the outlet malls, Nascar Speed Park not to mention Rest. Row. I%26#39;ve lived in MB for a while and the North end is best in my opinion.

I stayed at Dunes village right next to the Beach Colony and It looked like it was an average resort. Nothing special. We could see into the rooms and all the rooms appeared to be decorated differently. I would stay at the Dunes again, I would just get an oceanfront room for a better view. Goodluck choosing!
