winter time in HH?

We have reservations in Port O%26#39;Call for New Year%26#39;s week 2008 and have never been to HH. How cold does it get there that time of year? We are staying in a 2bdrm/2bath flat..I guess it is called. I wondered if it is a nice as the pics I see on the internet? We are looking forward to our visit. Expect to have weather in the mid sixties during the day and the low forties in the evening.

No, I%26#39;ve never stayed there, but some of our friends from up north have, and I%26#39;ve been able to check out some of the units.

I also think the property manager Reba is pretty good.

We travel to HH every year for the week between Christmas and New Year. I pack long sleeves for the day time and a jacket for the evenings. My husband even packs shorts for warmer days.

Golf is a biggie for most people. You will also see others taking long walks or riding bikes. The tennis courts also get a work out. This is the last busy week for the island. After this week, owners start making repairs and improvements to rental property for the next season.

It is easy to take a day trip to Savannah or Beaufort Hope you enjoy the trip

Thanks volfrmtn..I have never used this forum before and am finding it quite helpful. I now know what to expect with the temps ..or sort of..coming from south Fla. ,it will be cool to us. But, we can layer and take things off if it gets warm. Sounds like we will have a great time..can%26#39;t wait!
