I have only one day to shop...can anyone tell me the must-see shops in Charleston for home accesories; modern fun housewares
cool shopsHi,
The shops on King Street are phenomenal:

Have fun!
cool shopsFor decorative items there is a great shop on the corner of King and Broad Streets with some great reproductions of furniture and decorative items from historical Charleston pieces (Historic Charleston Reproduction Shop) and another fun place on Broad and Church Streets (The Boutique). The Historical Foundation shop on King and Queen Streets is nice, too. The museum shops at Middleton, Magnolia and Angel Oak are great shopping places.
Charleston has LOTS of art galleries and most can arrange for shipping to your home.
For cookware, go to the great little shop which also offers cooking classes, Charleston Cooks next door to SNOB (Slightly North of Broad) Restaurant on East Bay near Cumberland.
O%26#39;Hare %26amp; Flynn on East Bay is a good place to pick up a bottle of wine and a nibble for your room. It also offers sandwiches and tidbits at lunch time.
Don%26#39;t miss the market, for handmade sweetgrass baskets and for a variety of interesting small shops and stands.
ESD on King Street. Cool home items, both new and vintage, and great jewelry too!
