We%26#39;re planning a last minute get away to Hilton Head at the end of this month with two very little kids... 3 and 9 months. It%26#39;s important to us that we%26#39;re conveniently located to the beach and have access to a children%26#39;s pool. Sea Pines looks beautiful with lots to do (unsure how much is for kids this little) and Seacrest has also been recommended to us. Any insight or additional recommendations for accommodations?
Hilton Head in September with kids...little ones!!
I have been traveling to HHI for 17 years and our daughter was 10 months the first time we went. I highly recommend you stay ON THE BEACH! sea Pines is not my favorite for that reason. We love to stay in the North Forest Beach/south FB area- namely Shorewood, or Ocean One. Both of these complexes have first floor walk out condos so you are walking out of your condo onto a grassey area before the beach- no stairs involved. Perfect for nap breaks or potty breaks for the older one!
Ocean One does have elevators if you get a higher level. Also, we like beach front in Palmetto Dunes. Hope that helps. Also- if you stay in the SFB area you will be able to put the kids in a stroller and walk to coligny plaza where there are a ton of dining and shopping optiions. In Sea Pines you%26#39;ll be loading them in the car- for the most part. There aren%26#39;t too many kid friendly restaurants in Sea Pines other than the Salty Dog which is pub food.

SeaCrest is a good choice. It is right across from Coligny Plaza with it%26#39;s shopping and restaurants.
In Palmetto Dunes, the two you might like best are Captains Walk or VillaMare. Captains Walk does have a kiddies pool. There will be a lot of owners around the last week of September, as we have our annual meeting on September 28th.
SeaPines as stated is not the best option, since most of the villas are not oceanfront.

Isn%26#39;t the Marriott Monarch in Sea Pines Ocean front?
My understanding is that they have kiddie pools too.
The Marriott Monarch is Oceanfront, but it is a Timeshare property. While it is possible that d8486 could get a reservation there, the priority is to Marriott owners, Marriott exchanges, II exchanges, and then outsiders.
