We are flying in on friday 9/21 for a weeks stay. Wondering about the rain. Is it like tropical rains where it%26#39;s rainy but still warm or rainy and cold run for shelter. Light windbreaker and shorts or parka and long pants. Thanks for replys.

You can leave the parka a home, but a pair of longish cotton pants couldn%26#39;t hurt.
Although it won%26#39;t be blistering hot this week (highs in low 80%26#39;s) and the locals may find it cool, you should plan for tropical humidity. Be sure to bring a light wrap for when you walk into icy AC after being out in the high humidity.
When it rains this time of year, it rains hard. Bring umbrellas and appropriate shoes.
