Hotels near Double Tree

Please help me....looking for hotel/motel close to, Double Tree Guest Suites, 181 Church St. Charleston , that is less expensive.

I am flying in, from Texas, for Job fair being held, at the Double Tree, 8 Oct. I just need safe, clean room under $100 per night, if possible. Also, should I rent a car or use Taxi service?

You might want to stay outside the downtown area and take a taxi. Try some of the hotels in West Ashley on Savannah Hwy., or maybe Mt. Pleasant.

Since you are coming from Bellville, Texas - is the little German bakery still there about a block off the square? Great little tucked away town!
